"Configuring squidGuard is very straight-forward. The default location for the block lists is /usr/local/squidGuard/db/. Each category is located in a different directory. Currently, the categories available are ads, aggresive, audio-video, drugs, gambling, hacking, porn, violence, and warez. The configure file is /etc/squid/squidGuard.conf."
Seek and you will find. Most open source apps have good instructions on their websites for installing and configuring the apps. "man <app name>" is also a good place to look as well

i make a shair folder named "root" and copy my source of squidGuard in it and install squidGuard from this .... but i have no diractory of squiguard in usr/local/
when you installed it, where did you direct it to go?
try
slocate squidGuard | grep db

from the terminal
i have installed it with the following commands

[root@Guard squidGuard-1.2.0]# ./configure

cd src && make install.bin
make[1]: Entering directory `/root/squidGuard-1.2.0/src'
making install.bin in src
/usr/bin/install -c squidGuard /usr/local/bin/squidGuard
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/squidGuard-1.2.0/src'
making install in squidGuard-1.2.0)
