I am trying to record streaming video from a website. I am using Ubuntu 11.10 and I downloaded VLC 1.1.12. The site I am trying to download from is http://www.cctvsalem.org/streaming/community.php From this site I select from the 2011 program crystal apple awards and click on submit and a window opens and starts playing the video. I can't get an address for the video so I don't know how to even open it with VLC. I am also having problems adding the record button to VLC. It looks like the record button is on toolbar 1 but I can only see toolbar 2 when I open VLC. Can anyone tell me how to record streaming video on Ubuntu? Thank you
