how can I install RHEL 4 on DMRAID(ICH7R) created RAID ??

I have four SATAII disk , one 80G and the another are 200G , 80/200/200/200 connect on board from SATA0 to SATA3,then use ICH7R(dmraid) created RAID5 with the three 200G disk.I want to install the RHEL AS4 at the first 80G disk, and use the RAID to storage data.

I use 'linux dd' command to install, and load the ICH7R dirver from floppy ,but the installation process still say don't have disk driver, how can I do ?

I only want to install the system on the 80G disk ,and use the raid5 to stroage data

Well, if the 80G drive is not part of the raid, then none of that information is pertinent to the install.

If it's a problem getting the install to recognize your SATA disk at all, then you'll need to do some checking on where it's failing; but it's got nothing to do with your RAID (if your 80GB disk is *not* part of the RAID array). Some things to search for would be the type of controller being used for the port your 80GB drive is connected to, and possibly your motherboard's chipset (they can sometimes cause strange problems that are unrelated to other parts of an install).
