how can I install a ".exe" file in linux ?

I want to install a "flashget" in linux (redhat fc3).

I download the file "npfg11.exe" from www . amazesoft . com.

The web said the file "npfg11.exe" is for opera or mozilla firefox,

the web said that this file must install in firefox plugin folder.

But it's a ".exe" file, I don't known how to install it.

Can someone help me ? thanks.

To execute a file

./<file>

However in Linux no extension is needed to run a file.
Be sure that the software you've downloaded isn't for win.

Good Luck

Sean,
Flash-get is for windows. The only way you're going to run that under linux is with wine, or another win-doze emulator. Why not try this instead: Open up firefox, click on tools, then extensions. Click 'Get more extensions' on the bottom of the dialog that appears. Select ''Download Tools" in the sidebar on the left. Get "down them all", and whatever others you want. You'll wonder why you ever wanted flash-get.
