How can i hide the foldersin linux?
 

hi,
how can i hide the folders in linux ?
i am able to restrict the files or folders access.
but i am unable to hide it?
ok please help me

....and please, only post one thread to one forum, not to multiple forums...doesn't help anybody, but might irritate somebody when multiple similar threads take space from others..

Why would you want to hide the folders? If they're just folders in your home directory then just add a . to the folder name as anything starting with a dot is hidden...but do NOT rename anything like /usr /lib /include etc...

Rather than just mention to the poster that they've double posted, why not click the "report this post to a moderator" and let us know?
