Hotwayd - 100% CPU Usage

When I open up my Mozilla Thunderbird to check my hotmail, hotwayd is started and I receive my mails like it should. But after closing TB, hotwayd remains as a process, using the rest of my CPU usage. So mostly it's at about 95% - 100%. I always have to become root and kill the process. Any other way?

I just launched Tbird and I don't have that process running. Are you sure it's Tbird?

Are you on an older machine? You might try Sylpheed. It's a slick fast email client that's easy on system resources.

Thunderbird doesn't make the problem. It's hotwayd. That is a daemon that download messages from my hotmail account. It acts as a localhost pop3 server.

So Thunderbird is OK, it's not about the mail client, it's about the hotwayd...
