This is my login page to an in-house web application:
I enter the id and password. There are correct, verified in MySQL.
After I click on the login button, the URL becomes:
Then I get:
Database error: pconnect(192.168.15.103:3306, mileage_user_01, $DBPassword) failed.
MySQL Error: 0 ()
So I look at the ssl error log:
[Sat Jul 08 04:05:07 2006] [error] [client 192.168.15.100] PHP Warning: mysql_pconnect() [<a href='function.mysql-pconnect'>function.mysql-pconnect</a>]: Host '192.168.15.103' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server in /var/www/html/mileage/01/publish/db_mysql.php on line 99, referer: https://192.168.15.103/mileage/01/publish/
Just in case, here is line 99 in /var/www/html/mileage/01/publish/db_mysql.php:
$this->Link_ID=mysql_pconnect($DBHost, $DBUser, $DBPassword);
As indicated in the ssl error log entry:
My desktop ip address is 192.168.15.100
The server ip address is 192.168.15.103
So then why does it say
"... Host '192.168.15.103' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server ..."
Apache and MySQL are running on this same server 192.168.15.103 which is a Fedora Core 5 system.
