hk_classes

I want to install Knoda under Mandrake 10.1OE. I need to install hk_classes first. I've extracted the hk_classes0.7.3 and when I run ./configure I get an error message that "Python not available". I updated my python from the Mandrake site so I know it is installed. I ran .configure again but it exited with the same error. Frustration is another word for install. Help please.

hk_classes takes me to another problem

OK, the archive file I had was incomplete, missing the scripts. I downloaded another hk_classes rpm so I passed that barrier and encountered another. libmysql12 rpm. I can't install it or update it. The error I get is "can't be selected - unsatistifed devel(libz)" What's this all about? I tried urpmi.update -a and that did not help.
