Hidden GRUB!
Alright, so I was thinking about running linux on my school's computer.
So first, I removed the CMOS battery to reset the supervisor password set on the BIOS.. then after that i changed the boot sequence to allow me to run a live cd. Then I managed to run my cd! (slax).
But I want to move on to other stuff. I want to install a full fledged system, which is installed. Sadly, From my knowledge, GRUB pops up very prominently at boot, and it will e obvious linux is installed.
Is there anyway in which I can make it such that GRUB will only popup upon the pressing of a certain special set of buttons.. or maybe such that I would have to put in the CD to activate GRUB? Somewhere along that line, where GRUB will only be run when I want to, if not, it defaults to windoze.
Does anyone have any idea on how to do this? Thanks a billion for your help!
