(HelpMe!!!) Cant telnet ports(25&110)

I use Mandrake. I dont use any mail server (qmail, sendmail etc).Have a Courier Server, that takes mails from an email from internet. But under Linux Courier cant connect to mail.lviv.ua (25 port and 100 port). Have no nat under Linux. Have a ShoreWall that use iptables. Shorewall can Masquerade and many other. What can i do to work under this properly?

Help me please. 2 weeks i try to do it - but unsaccesfully.

Are you using the standard "telnetd" daemon? If so, did you set up your /etc/hosts.allow correctly to allow incoming telnet connections?

If I understand you correctly you just want to use telnet to make sure the ports are listening? Are you sure shorewall isn't blocking this traffic?
