there near no sftware in my new linux.
i can only use it to play dvd.
i don't need to know any command to install software,but now i have to borrow books to learn the command how to install software

You should indicate which distro you are using. Please put that in your user profile so we can see it at a glance and don't have to ask. Most distro's have a package system that you can use to explore packages you can install and then install them. We can't tell you more without knowing which distro you have installed.

This is "anxiety," and it sucks but it will pass. Let it pass. Do something else. Then, go back to it and look around. Let your curiosity get the better of you (but "look, at first, don't touch"). "Say, this is new and interesting, and just maybe it could be fun...."

But let the anxiety come-and-go first.

it's ture that there is another cd for me to install software
i do not understand which software is used to do what
so i install all of the software in that cd
can i unstall some in GUI whitout command?
