Help with XFS - borken by Drakfont
OK
I have XP and mandrake 9.1 running on the same machine. I want to start using Linux exclusively, but I'm not going to switch over until I can get it to do everything I need it to. The other day, I was using Drakfont inside of KDE... and while it was 'grabbing windows fonts' it froze, and then it took me to the console screen. I tried to get back into KDE, but the X Font Server is always "FAILED" and it cannot load the 'fixed' font or something. I dont know how to reinstall XFS or to go back to defaults or anything. So, now it won't let me into KDE at all. I don't know how to fix it, I am still a newb to Linux and all of its commands. If someone could help me, or give me a link that would point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it. thanks and sorry if this is a :newbie: question  ~Night Hunter~ |
