help with postun_ldconfig

When I try and install libfame I get the error message of

Some package requested cannot be installed:
libfame-0.9.0-alt3.i586 (due to unsatisfied /sbin/postun_ldconfig[*])
do you agree ?

Can someone please tell me what I need to install/config in order to fix this error?

All I can say is that I've never heard of postun_ldconfig,
and that libfame (installed from source) never asked for
anything like it .... what distro/package-management
system are you using, and where did you get that package
from?

Cheers,
Tink
