Help with Penrose Virtual Directory Server

I have done many searches and cannot find much help on this product. Has anyone here used this product in the past? If so I have a few questions.

For those that do not know what it is Penrose has the ability to present a single LDAP interface to many sources behind the scenes. This lets you combine an AD server, LDAP server, and LySQL servers etc and present it unified to a client.

The documentation seemed good at first but is terribly lacking and out of date. I am weak on LDAP so I am lost. There is virtually no activity in the mailing ( 1 or 2 a day)

Anyone out there with any experience with please chime in.

thanks

Doug
