Hi,Can some one please help,this my first post so i'm sorry if its in wrong place.Does anyone know how to get my card into monitor mode on Knoppix 5.1.1 its an Dlink dwl 650,atheros chip,v/c,i've some places that this version shouldn't work with backtrack but it does fine,my card shows up ok and seems to do everything else fine,i think i've used every command poss.The card works fine with Backtrack 2,but for some reasons with knoppix 5.1.1 it dosn't seem to want to go into monitor mode,thus not being able to use wireshark etc please help,i cannot seem to find an answer??? Um, I don't believe that Wireshark needs monitor mode to work. I use it all the time with ndiswrapper, and Windows drivers don't do monitor mode.
