Help with Kaffe 1.1.1 and MDK 9.2

Hi, I just installed Kaffe 1.1.1 from the RPMs included with Mandrake 9.2. I'm trying to use the Java VNC client with Konqueror, but it just brings up the grey screen and says "Loading Applet" and doesn't go anywhere. I also tried a VERY simple applet from a test site, as well as http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm ,with the same result. Is there a Kaffe plugin for Konqueror, or a workaround? Thanks!
