Linux does not seem to like me!!!
I had RH7 installed on my Quantum Fireball Plus LM 10.2 Gig Ultra ata/66 Hard drive and removed it because it was not meeting my needs, while on a previous hard drive which failed RH6 was. I decided to put RH6 back on but it kept having 'not syncing' error messages when I would try to start the computer. I could boot in to single user mode but no fixes I could think of could repair the problem, not even reinstalls.
So I decided to go back to RH7.0. Now I get the following message during installation and it occurs at different points:

Install exited abnormally--recieved signal 7
Sending termination signals ... done
Sending kill signals ... done
disabling swap .../tmp/swap/hda1 #My side note...I have tried the
unmounting filesystems... #swap partition at various places
/mnt/source umount failed (16)
/dev/pts/proc
you may safely reboot

What does all this mean? I need to get this up and running...Please help

I see this everytime I reboot. It's just Linux shutting down, there must be a problem with the Daemon it fails upon.
