Help please gnome 2.4
 

Hi,
I can't find any website with google on installing gnome 2.4 using "installing gnome 2.4". Can anyone please point me somewhere ( if possible for newbies ) where I can find info, and also, wich format should I download gnome, the .gz or the .bz2 ?

It doesn't matter. .bz2 is usually a little smaller and downloads a little faster.
