I'm Really New In Red Hat 9.0 And I Basically Dont Know Anything. I Also Downloaded Alvaro's MSN Messenger In TAR/GZ format And i Would Like To Know How To Make IT Work! Any Help Would Be Highly Appreciatted, Thanks!

rpm -qa | more

you get a list of all rpm packages installed.

rpm -ql package_name_without_i386_and_.rpm_extension

You can see which files are installed by the rpm.

To erase a package:
rpm -e package_name_without_i386_and_.rpm_extension
