help needed for a word-to-pdf server
 

Hi,

I want to create a server, which creates PDF from Microsoft Word documents
i am trying to do something like fastpdf. com

BUT, how do I actually go about it?

If it was a postscript-to-pdf conversion, I'd be setting up a Samba server, CUPS, ghostscript .. configuring it ...etc

But, for MS Word?
Can I use OpenOffice to automatically import MS Word documents & Export to PS/PDF?

P.S. I am doing this for my friends who (occasionally) need to convert MS Word documents to PDF

i mean .... a word-to-pdf server, where i can upload the files & the server converts it to pdf ...

not interactively ... everything automated with python or w/e

I haven't found many free word to PDF converters.
Would this work? It isn't a server.
