Help !! My Computer Is Still Pixelated

Opera is still pixelated on ubuntu 7.10. Strangely enough, when I open Opera in Xp from virtualbox, Opera is not pixelated. What's going on here? I want pics and fonts in Opera in Ubuntu to not be pixelated. What can I do?

what does "pixelated" mean here? maybe you need to provide a screenshot? are you possibly talking about anti-aliasing?

OK everyone, the problem is the way Opera renders its images. Everytime I enlarge the size of the pages to read the font better, the images enlarge also, but the images become jazzy. How can I enlargen the webpages without distorting the images?

Also, what's the optimum resolution for widescreen?

I thought having the images zoom too was a feature of Opera, you'll have to look for some option to turn it off, if you can.

Optimum resolution depends on what screen you have, usually it falls between 1280x800 and 1920x1200. You will need to find out what your screen manufacturer recommends.
