Help me with getting bittorent to work with konqueror.

I installed Python and wxPython already without a hitch.
Now I am looking at the next part and it says:

put a line in /etc/mailcap which is similar to the
following, only replace the path to
/usr/bin/btdownloadgui.py with the one it's actually in.

application/x-bittorrent; /usr/bin/btdownloadgui.py %s; test=test -n "$DISPLAY"

Now the only problem I see here is I have no /etc/mailcap file. (wtf???!?!)
So I am looking at teh next part that says.
If you're using a web browser which doesn't respect
/etc/mailcap you can go into the mimetype configuration for
your web browser and manually associate application/x-bittorrent
with btdownloadgui.py (with the appropriate path, of course.)

So I go to Settings>Configure konqueror>Plugins And I add my bittorrent dir to the list thingy. Then hit scan for new plugins.
But it didn't find it. So now I am confused.
What did I do wrong?

it's because peopel here know that bittorrent works easier in WindowsXP.
For the time being, just use bittorrent in Windows XP and wait until someone can fix this problem in linux - that's what I'm doing.

(by the way, bittorrent is amazing!!!!)

"it's because peopel here know that bittorrent works easier in WindowsXP"
Well for me it's because I don't usually use Konqueror.

"So I go to Settings>Configure konqueror>Plugins And I add my bittorrent dir to the list thingy. Then hit scan for new plugins."
"What did I do wrong?"

You want Settings>Configure konqueror>File Associations
