Help me in Lucent


I am new in linux.But i have to solve all the problem.but i have one problem due to i am using Microsoft Window XP!
The problem is i don't know how to configure modem under linux redhat 9
I have a lucent win modem pci slot
can i configure it under linux
plz help me as soon as possible

how does it connect to the computer. Is it a PCI, ISA, or external. If external what type of connection(parrallel, serial).
