HELP! Just can't install Mandrake 10

My first post!
First of all let me thank all contributors for an excelent Linux distro.

Now to the headache.
I've downloaded Mandrake 10 Official iso's.
Before burning them I did a md5sum on them and they were all ok.

My problem is that I just can't install Mandrake! Every time it gets to the part "Loading program into memory...", after the progress bar, it simply freezes up and my cdrom simply stops spinning.

I did some finding and looks like others are havind the same problem. I tried to boot with CD 2 like a saw in the forum. It asks for the CD1 and I get back to the same problem.

I've tried to boot from both my cdrom drives with no success (Asus 50x and LG CDR/RW).

Can someone please help! I REALLY REALLY want to experiment Mandrake 10 Official.

Thanks in advance.

I installed Mandrake 10 by downloading it after creating a boot floppy. I also had to make a floppy that had the network card modules. After I booted from the floppy, I was prompted to insert the disk with the network card module and had to tell it which kind of network card I have. It was really easy. I had no problems except that it took a while longer than it would've if I created a cdrom, but thats a minor inconvenience. Good luck!

I've just made a boot floppy (rawrite with cdrom.img) and booted with the floppy disk. It asked for the installation CD and got the same problem.
Still freezing at the same moment.

Please. Any ideas?
