Help installing Truecrypt on a dual-boot system

I have a netbook with Ubuntu and win7 on it and I want to install Truecrypt and encrypt the entire drive. I don't want the Truecrypt bootloader to overwrite Grub2, so I am curious if there were a way to boot TC off a USB card and then proceed to load Grub2 as usual.

Just to clarify, when I say "the entire drive", I'm referring to Both the Linux and Win7 partitions.

Thanks in advance

Truecrypt does not support full drive encryption in Linux. Why not use LUKS?

Will LUKS encrypt a Windows partition? I know that truecrypt is available for linux

I do too, but if I were you, I'd backup my files, wipe my entire drive, then install truecrypt. Haven't done that though because I don't want to wipe my Linux installation. :)

Ive decided to go another route here. I can't encrypt the entire windows installation because that is my honeypot for thieves (tracking software). But I do want to encrypt the entire Linux partition. I have no idea how LUKS or Truecrypt handles the Grub bootloader in this scenario. I assume that I would be working off Ubuntu and simply choose not to encrypt Win7, but as far as getting to grub and not messing it up, I'm not sure on the specifics.

Oh, I see what you want to do, my bad.

That's my fault. I had forgotten about the anti-theft program on windows.
