Help installing caitoo.


Hey all, n00b here trying to install caitoo. While running ./configure it spits out this error

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

How do i fix this?

Do you have X installed? If so do a:

./configure --help

and see what the option is to specify the path to your X includes.

If by X it's talking about the X windows system, then yeah (bear with me, i'm still learning)

I did the help deal and found the command to point to the X path, only thing is, i don't know where it's located.

To find out where any program is installed you can do:

whereis <program name>

in your case you would do:

whereis X

This will tell you the path to your X files.
