Help!!


I bought a barebone PC and I have done everything need, and even bought a new harddisk, but now I need a Disc Operating System on it can anyone point me out one that would work good with Peanut-Linux Version v9.5?

What? First of all, you should mark you thread with something relevant to your question. Second, I have no idea what you are asking here. Are you asking what hard disk would work good with peanut linux?

the harddisk I have is blank, nothing on it, I need something like MS-DOS but I cant seem to find a working ver. of it

You want to install DOS on your hardisk?

I'm sorry but I don't know how to install DOS onto you hard drive. Just wondering why you would come to linuxquestions.org and ask how to install DOS?

thats my problem, my pc says it is searching for boot record and it wont load up the cd I have linux on

Is the Peanut Linux CD bootable?

If so...Try setting your BIOS to boot from the CD-ROM, put in the Peanut Linux CD, and restart.
