Hi Lucy

I've not heard of that - but in general - for software equivalents:

Why you'd want to have to use such a horrible language thats a total wast eof space... </rant>

Sorry, I have to use it at work, Can never wait to get back to my home machine and some clean C++ fun.

If you want a true GUI tool in linux, I wilkl urge you to go for QT (which is based on C++). You will think it will be difficult, but think again. Try it and you will see that it is beautiful, and easy.

Also, the QT builder is very easy to use, and if you like Visual Basic, you will certainly love it, as it is more robust, and is based on RAD.

DOn't forget KDevelop which makes it a breeze with Qt and KDE.

I have never used KDevelop, and leonscape, it will be helpful if you point me towards a good help site, that helps in using KDevelop from the ground up. I must admit that my experience with KDevelop is bad as I always mess with it, and it never compiles correctly for me , as it always says missing library, or some such error.

I've posted a couple of times about it tonight, strange how things come up repeadly like that.

On installing I'd need a bit of info on what went wrong on using try:
http://arfa.komnas.com/~jeffry_johar/linuxlaht1/t1.html

Its a good starter (Although the stuffs pretty basic it gets you going with KDevelop).

Well , I had a lot of errors creeping up, but I don't have them right now, and I have recently got RH9, and have installed KDevelop by default. I am going to try out it soon.

Meanwhile, thanks for the thread which I see is quite easy to use.
