HDR photography

Maybe no one really has any experience in this, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

I'm seeing a lot of HDR photos on the internet these days, but all the guides for doing it seem to be for windows. I don't know if my camera is even capable of taking the right pictures for it, but does anyone know what software you would use for that? Or maybe where you could find a guide on doing it in linux?

Just a thought...

Take a look at Cinepaint. They've got some documentation on their website, at http://www.cinepaint.org.
