What kind of filesystems are you using. Most linux filesystems don't need to be defragmented.

using ext3

Guess that this fs doesn't need any defrag but would like to be sure :D

Nope it doesn't. It does fragment slightly but it's setup to be pretty fast even though this occurs. So basically you'd be wasting your time trying to defragment.
