Having problems installing a keylogger.

Everytime my bf uses the laptop he clears the history. I thought I'd be best installing a keylogger, I've tried installing the one in the software centre but it keeps saying it's failed. This is what appears in the details box:
installArchives() failed: Selecting previously deselected package logkeys.

The 'firmware-b43-installer' package is firmware for broadcom wifi cards, so I don't see why it would be needed for logkeys, which has nothing to do with a wifi card.

Also remember that you should only install this keylogger if the laptop belongs to you. If it is not your laptop, it is not legal.

Yes it is my laptop. I was trying to install broadcom drivers a while a go but managed to get my wifi working a different way. I don't understand why that's coming up when I'm clicking on install logkeys.

Make sure you put a check only next to the logkeys package, not the b43 one.

If all else fails, maybe compile it from source.

This problem occurs because there was an error when you tried to install firmware-b43-installer. Now you package manager tries to install or reconfigure it every time you want to install something. Try to remove that package with dpkg. If that works you will be able to install software again.
