i signed the petition, however..
i do feel the wording and idea is not exactly correct.
when you buy hardware it has a user agreement and manual. you cant 'demand', and do not 'rightfully deserve' a driver for any operating system other than the one specified, and the one the hardware is designed for, usually Microsoft products.
look for support for Linux on the packaging next time you buy hardware.. its not very common near my location, but it varies.
