Count of hardlinks for my home directory is 28

there are 14 sub directories inside ano

I googled it and it says it's 2 + number of subdirectories. 1 for directory name in the parent directory, 1 for . in own directory, and .. in each subdirectory.

so it's supposed to be 16

number of hardlinks for sub directory is 2. name of dir in parent dir and . in own dir which is correct

only my home dir hardlink count is myterious.

Can anyone think of other reasons the count is 28 instead of 16 hardlinks for my home dir?

I searched by inode number in / directory, if there is any other direcotry which has same inode as home dir. but the home dir is only dir with the inode number

have you checked the hidden dirs (.ssh and similar)?
