Unhappy hang on install ...looking for usb mouse

I am new to linux and have downloaded redhat 7.2 to cd. When i run the cd install i have tried selecting expert , lowres, graphic and every other option on that screen but i keep getting hung on the blue screen that says "Loading Anaconda....." I hit Alt-<F3> and the last thing in the list is "Looking for USB mouse.....". I am not using a USB mouse (using ps/2) and i even tried disabling the usb ports in bios. No change. Please help
