Halflife on RH9


I know there is a lot of how-to;s baout this but i have wine installed nad when i tried to install Xfree86, it siad my glib was too new. the install command is sh Xinstall.sh. Is there a way around this or has anyone play halflife on their linux computer and can tell me an easy way. Thanks in advance.

i haven't tried this but i thought about it. I don't know if it will crash rh9 or anything that is why i haven't. Get the downgraded version of glic and
rpm -ivh glibc[version] --force
then get the devel and do the same
Maybe?
