HAL device scan order
Is there anyway to affect the order in which HAL scans devices?
In particular, the (minor) issue is the order in which device icons appear on the desktop. A lot of the time, removable devices seem to get scanned first, which results in them being at the top, but as soon as its removed I get annoying gaps on desktop.
