Unhappy hadware prob please help

today i pluged my monitor in and the color is way to bright.... sorry guys but this isnt a linux prob either i booted to windows ....... *dont tell any one* and the problem is still there i also tried it on other computers.. same problem

its an Aopen lcd monitor

so if any one has had the same problem or knows what might be causing this ... Please Help!

Some monitors have a brightness control on the front panel. If you don't have one on the front panel then you probably can adjust it by turning a screw, or perhaps three screws, inside the chassis.
