Angry H I decided to upgrade to fedora 8 but...

I decided to upgrade to fedora 8 from 7 but at the end of the install jest when anaconda starts to build the bootloader a message comes up saying (An unhandled exception has occurred).

I did have some problems with F7 but I think that I fixed them, and don't know what to do.

Pleas help.

Does it boot? If not, you may have to edit and readd grub with a Knoppix live cd...or you may try to reinstall using fedora 8 again...

I actually didn't try to boot cause I thought that the thing was damaged from the way the error came up but Ill try it and see.

If that wont work then how do I edit and readd grub with a Knoppix?

Pleas explain as much as possible.

Well I thought that maybe I could use a common Linux bootloader or possibly the fedora 7 one and install it then use a program like systemrescue mount the newly made /Boot and fix the bootloader fore fedora 8.

But it may be simpler IE: coping a fresh install of F8 made on another partition to add into the first partition and then format the new one.

Any idea?

((I jest checked and found out that some one stupidly had used one of my Apps and altered the system partition witch I discovered removed the one labeled /Boot.

I now think that that would be the problem.

So is it possible to fix this using parted or something,
And could that be it?))
