Gutenprint (Gimp) -- How to change default paper size

Can't believe I can't find this out through searches, but I can't, so if anyone would please, I would like to know how to change the default paper size when printing from Gimp using Gutenprint.

Gutenprint (Gimp) -- How to change default paper size

Can't believe I can't find this out through searches, but I can't, so if anyone would please, I would like to know how to change the default paper size when printing from Gimp using Gutenprint. The current default is letter and A4 is what is needed. Do not want to have to change it manually for each print job. Thanks.

Sorry for duplicate post.

Try going into the printer settings and create a new printer with the A4 format as default.

Duplicate threads merged.

I agree that it is probably a printer setting and not a GIMP setting----you don't need to create a new printer--you can always just edit the exisiting one.

Thank you all. It was right in front of my eyes (as usual). Open Gutenprint, have a file loaded, select Print with Gutenprint, go the the Output tab, change things as desired, click Save Settings. Duhhhah.
