GUI editing
Can i modify the GUI's menues? (i want to edit the Start Menu, or whatever the name is).
My experience : about a step up of newbie ...

Both... I am transfering to KDE... I think KDE is better then Gnome, but it lacks some things (like the Shutdown button in the start menu ; that is what i want to add)

Run the program called "kmenuedit" and add whatever program/command you want to to the appropriate group. "kmenuedit" is probably hidden so you don't see it in the regular menu. You can run it from the terminal or by hitting <Alt + F2>.
