"Guest" Shell?
Anyone know of a program that can be used to create a guest shell on my linux box? Basically, I'm trying to find some way to hugely limit the actions a single account can perform, but I want to be able to let people get a taste of unix shells and play with my sparc64 box. The only thing I have been able to think of would be the creation of a UML system within it from a read-only image that could be easily reset, with strict outbound firewalling.

Depending on your intent, it might be enough to set their login to use a restricted shell.

Thanks. That looks like it might actually work really well. I'm going to set up an account like that and see what damage I can (or can't) do. :)
