Hey there just having trouble installing GTKPOD....
I open up a termnial from the tarball thats been untarred and i type in ./configure and it comes up as
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr//bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld
checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld
checking for style of include used by make... GNU
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details.
and yea type in make and this cums up
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
and then i type in make install and this cums up
make: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop.
so yea just need help installing this as i need it desperatly for my ipod=)
