gtkdialog treestore loading

Let me begin by saying that I am referring to the gtkdialog command which loads glade files, and not the GtkDialog dialog window in Gtk.

I am experimenting around with gtkdialog for small gui creation, but I'm unsure how to use a treeview with it. I can put a treeview in my XML UI description, but I have no idea how to instruct gtkdialog to load any contents. Is there a way to have it load a GtkTreeStore from, say, an XML file?
