About a week or so ago I guess, I was letting my friend mess around with my laptop, but he's not familar with Linux and being ignorant he just hit the power button without going through the shutdown process while I had Gtk-Gnutella and a few other apps running. Good thing is that Gtk-Gnutella was the only thing effected. Bad thing is that I can't get it to run now.

I tried reinstalling the program and trying a number of things with the configure script, but the program won't run, and when I attempt to launch it from a terminal this is the error that I get.

** ERROR **: file cq.c: line 221 (cq_insert): assertion failed: (delay > 0) aborting...


Any help would be appreciated. When I go to do a search I "cq.c" doesn't even come up in the results.

Have you tried backing up your ~/.gtk-gnutella directory and deleting it?

I did not do that.

However I just did that and it worked! Thanks man!
