gtk-gnutella Input Not Working

I recently installed gtk-gnutella 0.93.4 but can't seem to get it to work right. It opens and connects and what not but I can't type! I can click on settings and menus and everything but pressing keys just doesn't seem to register with the program. Has anyone else had any similar problems?

I am having the same problem. Have you been able to solve this?

I am using Mandrake 10 with Enlightenment and Fluxbox on an older computer.

Well, I guess you could say that I solved the problem. It turns out that the only "problem" was user error and bad interface design on the developer's part. While playing around with it, I noticed that I could type in some text boxes after all, but not others. To do a search, use the "search" text box in the left column. Before, I was trying to go to "search" (the one with the "monitor" and "stats" listed below it) and enter a search in the "current search" box. It's pretty bad interface design to display the current search in a text box (something reserved for the user to edit text) instead of simply writing it the way that "current search" is written. Oh well. Hope that helps. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I got an email notification about your post but forgot about it for a while.

Hey Spaaarky21 [ did I write enough "a"s?:-) ]

A friend was over last night and I think that my problem was the lack of RAM in my computer. I am using it is just a file/printer server. Apparently, it took a very long time to recognize the input. Now that It is up and running, it seems to be accepting the input fine, although I expect it will slow down again if I work with other programs.

Thanks for keeping me updated.
