gtk-config

Hi guys

I was installing a program and the first prompt I got was that gtk-config is not in my path on further checking through urpmi Ive got all the gtk packages installed but there does not seem to be any package called gtk-config ........as said the error is "gtk-config is not in your path installation will continue without GUI"

any help ??

The program is called gtk-config. The package is called gtkconfig. You need to install the gtkconfig package.

gtkconfig is provided by gtk (gtk1 or libgtk+1.x). Install that and hope fully your problem will be sorted out.
