gtk app problem

Hi All,

I'm running KDE3.4 on Suse 9.3 and I changed my window decorations and now my different gtk apps fail to start with a segment error ... (firefox, mozilla, azureus ect) ... uninstalled the apps and re-installed making no difference ... from reading I'm guess that its a gtk problem as the error points to /opt/gnome/libg ....... something ... would uninstalling the gtk libs and reinstalling be a logical step?? Been messing with this for 2 days now..
I'm a newbie to linux ... been running about 2 months now..

Thanks in advance

Maybe there is a problem with that particular window decoration. Have you tried using others. I don't think tinkering with your gtk packages will help.

Yes I switched them back tried firefox ... no luck ... reinstalled firefox with the decorations the way they were when it worked and still won't work now .... I'm down to either the gtk libs or the QT libs ... From what I've read gtk engine uses qt for drawing the window .... so I have downloaded both gtk engine and qt .... I'll mess with it more when I get home this evening ... but yeah I have tried every different combo of wigets, colors, themes and styles .... at least its a learning experience
