LinuxQuestions.org - gstreamer plugins, dependency problems

Hi, im trying to install some gstreamer plugins using yum but i keep getting the following message:

Code:

Finding updated packages

Downloading needed headers

Resolving dependencies

.......Unable to satisfy dependencies

Package gstreamer-plugins-audio needs libshout.so.2, this is not available.

Package gstreamer06-plugins-audio needs libshout.so.2, this is not available.

Package gstreamer-plugins-extra-dvd needs liba52.so.0, this is not available.

Package gstreamer06-plugins-extra-dvd needs liba52.so.0, this is not available.

[root@r0l5n8 a52dec-0.7.4]#

I then typed:

Code:

yum install libshout

and

Code:

yum install a52dec

to try to solve this but im still getting the same message.

If anyone could point me in the right direction id be very grateful.
