GRUB Install CD

Is there a special CD somewhere which contains tools to help with installing GRUB on a system that already has the OS on disk? Perhaps some kind of generic rescue CD would work, but I thought there might be some kind of disc out there that was specially tailored to GRUB installations.

Super Grub probably is what you are looking for. This link will explain what it does and has a link to download the disk.

Also any live linux distro cd will work as a rescue cd.

Just about any Linux "live CD" will allow you to install GRUB. Keep in mind that you have to specify GRUB's root (the path to its config file) in terms of how the drives/partitions will be seen when booting from the harddrive.
