GRUB error 22

'lo.

I recently installed Kubuntu on a 30GB hard drive partition, but got an error when loading GRUB on the first boot. After trying numerous remedies with no success, I booted from the GParted LiveCD and deleted the Linux root and swap partitions (there wasn't a /home), hoping that this would let me revert back solely to Windows 2000.

However, I'm now getting error 22--GRUB is still trying to load. How can I fully get rid of it without messing up anything Windows-related? I have two HDDs, the Master drive being a 20GB with Win2k installed, and the Slave being a 160GB with the previously mentioned partition for Linux. The rest of the space is for Win2k.

EDIT: Never mind, after some searching I found a thread with the answer in the SUSE forums. Ran the Win2k boot CD and used the fixmbr command. In a fraction of a second I was back in Windows. Could a mod lock/delete/whatever this thread? Thanks.
